A beautiful hotel with pool

Hotel Degli Artisti - Rome, Italy - Have an Epic Life of Luxury Now

In this post, we're exploring Ludovisi's best-kept jewel, Hotel Degli Artisti - Rome, Italy!

Hotel Degli Artisti - Rome Italy is a deluxe 4-star boutique hotel situated in the illustrious streets of Ludovisi and is one of the best hotels in Rome.

It opened its doors to the public in 2016 and is reminiscent of the famous artists for which Rome is famous. Their amenities include a breakfast room, a terrace bar, and ultra-chic suites adorned with white marble and parquet floors, beautiful draperies, and a generous dose of natural light.

I've written countless reviews from my travels and have been featured on sites like Your Tango and Edible Arrangements. If you're traveling to Rome, booking your stay in this charming Albergo will be the best decision you'll ever make.

Is it a difficult walk up the hill to get to the hotel?

Hotel Degli Artisti - Rome Italystands in a quiet neighborhood uphill from Piazza Barberini - a ten-minute walk from Rome City Centre, where tourists can find the ancient city's beloved historical sites such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon.

Guests also have the option to avail of the hotel's porterage service so an appointed staff can meet and escort them to their designated rooms.

What are the nearby tourist attractions?

Because of its convenient location, Hotel Degli Artisti is just walking distance away from Italy's treasured crowd-pleaser, Fontana di Trevi or the Trevi fountain.

If you're in the mood for a romantic stroll in the quaint streets of Rome, Villa Borghese is also within easy reach from the Hotel. There, tourists can visit Gallery Borghese, a museum and art gallery where visitors can marvel at masterpieces from renowned Italian artists such as Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Raphael, Caravaggio, Titian, and Rubens.

If you want a more scenic route, head on to 'Trinità dei Monti' or the Spanish Steps, where a parade of flowers and Baroque architectural buildings will greet you.

Hotel Degli Artisti Italy is also nearby popular tourist attractions such as the Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, Palatine Hill, Colosseum, and the most elegant shopping street in the world, Via Condotti.

Of course, a Roman holiday wouldn't be complete without a pilgrimage visit to the Papal Basilica of St Peter in Vatican City, which is only 45-minutes away from the hotel.

What is the view from the hotel?

The hotel was designed to allow guests to enjoy the stunning landscapes of Rome and offers a 360-degree view of the Eternal City.

Their modern amenities, such as the rooftop terrace and bar, provide a perfect setting where guests can treat themselves to handcrafted cocktails or afternoon tea while taking in the beauty of the city's breathtaking spectacle.

Which rooms offer the best view?

Whatever room type you choose, whether a classic double room or a luxury sky suite, guests are guaranteed to get only the best view of Rome's vintage scenery. All rooms and suites in the hotel lead to private courtyards and gardens and offer a scenic view of the Eternal City.

What are the facilities available to be enjoyed by guests?

Aside from elite guest accommodation, the hotel also boasts an elegant breakfast room with terracotta flooring and clay pavers where guests can enjoy an American breakfast buffet.

I especially love the hotel's rooftop terrace, which features a social bar, solarium, and a jacuzzi. It is the perfect place for a morning sunbathing or a night of drinking with family or friends.

Are there restaurants and bars in the hotel?

The hotel has no full-service restaurant on site. However, guests are encouraged to visit the hotel's New York-themed pub, The Terrace Bar, after a day of strolling and exploring. Here they are accommodated by skilled baristas who are more than willing to serve them delicious finger food dishes and cocktails.

Food and drinks are also available via room service.

What are the amenities included in the room?

Degli Artisti hotel offers 6 types of rooms: a classic room, a superior room, a junior suite, a family suite, a deluxe suite, and a sky suite. Each room type comes with a high-speed internet connection, a minibar, bathrooms with wide showers, hypoallergenic duvets and pillows, and lush bath products.

Their classic and superior rooms include a queen size bed and can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. On the other hand, their suites feature an apartment-concept room with a private entrance, a double room with a King-size bed, a spacious living room, two bathrooms, a balcony, and a 40 sq. of private terrace overlooking Rome.

How is the service of the hotel staff?

True to their principle of providing luxury and comfort, the hotel staff was very pleasant to be around. They're also very proactive in dealing with special requests, be it room service, luggage storage, booking a ticket at the train station, or arranging a tour of Rome City Centre.

The hotel staff is multilingual, too, so whether they're coming from New Zealand or New York, guests can assure that there will be no language barrier throughout their stay.

Did you have a good experience staying at Hotel Degli Artisti?

If it were up to me, this 4-star hotel would already be a 5-star hotel. I love that you can call on their concierge service 24/7 and how knowledgeable their staff is about the restaurants, nightlife, sporting and theatre events, sightseeing tours, and shopping activities available for tourists.

Their amenities are also well-maintained. All thanks to their housekeeping service that cleans the rooms every day.
